I'm sitting here reflecting of the past weekend which was full of laughter and fun. 4-H was a huge part of that laughter. The kids competed in the yearly Contest Day. They performed working demonstrations, participated in a mock interview, displayed collections, judged various situations, and performed an extemporaneous speech in front of judges. This a near invaluable contest for life skills that is a natural extension of our homeschool. The lesson, friends and skills they learn with 4-H will stay with them forever.
