Park Day in the Fall!

PARK DAY AT SOUTH CITY PARK !

We had an entertaining and pleasurable day at the park. Our homeschooling family took part in a wonderful, color filled, play day at South City Park. The kids get to enjoy the fun of seeing their friends and getting fresh air with a few hours of hard play.  Moms enjoy the fellowship with each other.  We laugh and cry together, help each other find new ways of teaching our kids, share curriculum and clothes and catch up on the latest recipes.
One of the recipes shared by a fellow mom was a recipe for fermented apple sauce.  I attended a webinar in which they mentioned how beneficial fermented foods are for our health.  I will forward that recipe if you comment below.  Try it and tell me what you thought of it. Tomorrow we are going to the Amish town of Jamesport to their produce auction in which I hope to find many apples. I'll let you know how it turns out.
