Change

Who likes change? Some do and some don't.  We have had many changes this year. We have changed curriculum, I have added a part time job while the other had slowed.  We have had to a change in the way we are eating in the new year hoping for positive change.  We sold a horse and bought a new one. We have seen a change in the White House and changes in how we debate with each other.

What hasn't change is the love of God and family.

We are adjusting to change and looking forward to spring. We are looking forward to gardening and the signs of new life.   Thank you for sticking with me here as we adjust to all this change, I apologize for not posting as often and I look forward to reading your comments.

Projects in full swing....

Seems like we start a new project before we finish with the last. We planted more garden which included, sweet potatoes, more lettuce, squash, melons, tomatoes, peppers and cabbage.

We helped the vet to vaccinate and test the horse for Coggins and float her teeth. She is very sleepy still....

We planted strawberries and finished the chicken/turkey shed with fence minus a few trims of the siding along the side as you see here.

We have only one turkey that has successfully hatched, as the others were not fertilized.  We have another batch to try next week and we are hoping for the best.  We looked this up to see if we could figure out if this turkey was a Hen or Tom.  They say it is not 100 percent accurate but to keep checking weekly.... She is cute isn't she?

Kids walked and groomed their show animals and we moved the cow aka "Martha," to fresh grass. She is happy now! We are so excited to see her calf- due anytime.
